


easy peasy! you just need baking soda, vinegar, playdough or clay ), a piece of cardboard, pen/pencil, dishtowel.
(1) place little container on cardboard.
(2) add baking soda. pour on vinegar (not too much!) and let it flow.
(3)use pen to draw a line around the flow.
(4)wipe up with dishtowel.
(5) fill in the lava flow area with playdough -a new color for each successive layer (we did not have enough of each color so instead used "color groups" for each new layer of earth formed.
(6) repeat steps 2-5 as many times as you would like
have fun!
